Signature, Icarus "Superia"

An "Icarus" in a true sense and fitting name to truly amazing pipe. I guarantee it will lift your spirit once you'll hold it in your hands...it sure did mine as I've seen it emerging from a block, bit by bit to its final glory.

Carved from Italian Plateaux and fitted with hand cut Cumberland stem it displays amazing grain all around the bowl with a dark natural Plateaux top to add a nice contrast.

It is a larger pipe, but lightweight and well balanced. I love to carve the curvy Freehand shapes and watch the flow and harmony they display. It almost feel like the briar is soft and can be readily molded.

The bowl is coated with my Pumice/Charcoal mixture for extra protection and to ease the break-in process.

This pipe will look great in any collection and I'll be sad to see it go. I wish there would be more days like this, but you know as well as I do that pipe like this is not born every day...
